Welcome

Harrison Ritter West is a 24-year-old photographer, videographer, and visual artist based in the Pacific Northwest. West graduated from the University of Victoria in 2026 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts while also playing for the university’s soccer team.

His love for photography and videography began as a teenager and quickly developed into an artistic practice. Combining photography with mediums such as sculpture and paint, his work explores themes of cubism, escapism, melancholy, mystery, storytelling, and time. His art encourages viewers to re-examine their perception of reality and consider how light can change their understanding of a subject over time.

These themes are communicated through photographic techniques such as long exposures and high-contrast nightscapes. West aims to create works that resonate with the emotions experienced within the environments he captures.

This website contains work created over the past 10 years and will be updated monthly.
